Start Up Princess

Problem:

For their annual Touchpoint Conference, they had two needs:
1. Wanted to engage audience more and make event fun.
2. Needed to poll the audience on demographic information as well as votes for best video.

In previous years, they tried using paper polling and surveys. They discovered it wasn’t the most efficient way to gather information since they had to pass them to each person, get attendees to actually fill them out, and then try to gather them up before everyone left. Quite a bit of paper was tossed out, and their demographic numbers weren’t very accurate.

Solution:

For their main session, we created a presentation with survey questions integrated into it to gather the important demographic information they wanted. Throughout the day showed trivia about the attendees, as well as the conference to help them give away door prizes.

After polling the audience for the video competition, we were able to show them instant results. This eliminated hundreds of pieces of paper, and the need to have people hand count the results—saving both money and time. They were able to award a winner seconds rather than minutes after voting.
