Problem:

One of the departments had done some work with a consultant and as a result made some big changes in the department’s organization. They wanted a way to assess how the department employees felt about these changes.


Solution:

They engaged us to provide both a facilitator and anonymous polling during a large meeting. Our facilitator asked the questions, we showed the results of the polling and our facilitator helped coax more explanation from the crowd. When the audience saw that there were others who shared their opinions the employees felt comfortable going into more detail about their feelings. At the end of the meeting this department walked away with needed insight into what was working, what wasn’t working, a lot of good will from their employees and the opportunity to improve.
